Remembrance from Pat Schuster

During the 1970s, our family lived near Chattanooga, TN on Signal Mountain.  Diana's friend and neighbor Pat Schuster shares this story.

I met your mother at a fundraising dinner for the Alexian Brothers Nursing Home.  She was helping at the “Library on the Mountain”, a small community library run by volunteers.  My husband loved to read, but he died at only age 49.  I took boxes of his books to the library to donate.  A little while later, your mother discovered that my husband used twenty dollar bills as bookmarks.  She called me to go through the boxes.  That's how honest she was.

She was always so willing to help everyone and everybody.
